Thank you for allowing me to share the stories of Kai, Zane, Cole, and Jay with you, friend. As you have read, there was no sorcery involved when the ninja regained their Elemental Powers.
Kai needed to accept that he couldn’t always be the hero in every situation. And he learned a valuable lesson about the importance of accepting help when it is offered. I confess that I was older than Kai when I learned that lesson myself!
As for Zane—well, he did not hesitate to ask for help in finding his powers. He turned to someone who has helped him many times in the past, and someone he trusts perhaps above all others: P.I.X.A.L. Zane’s journey deep into the banks of his fractured memories made him realize that we all need to be able to forgive ourselves for any wrongdoings, or else we can’t move forward in life.
A sense of inner peace and wholeness helped Cole and Jay restore their Elemental Powers and True Potential. Giving and receiving strength from your family, and the people you care about, balances and grounds you. Once Cole realized this, the path to rediscovering his True Potential became clear.
Jay’s secret to unlocking his True Potential was buried very deep within himself. And he probably wouldn’t have been successful without his most unexpected guide, Unagami. The boy helped Jay realize that the family he’d been missing were, in fact, all the people who loved him, cared for him, and stood by his side when he needed them.
When I reflect on these stories, two lessons emerge. First, one can always count on one’s friends. And second, no one is ever truly powerless. The stories of others can be instructive in our own lives. Sometimes we can learn something new. Other times, we can remember something lost that may have been forgotten.
Please come visit me again. Where the ninja are concerned, there are always more stories to tell…over a cup of refreshing tea!
